Resource Recovery Solutions’ Commitment to Safety

A company’s commitment to safety is not in their paperwork nor their handbooks, it is in their people. It’s how they approach tackling the scope of work for each client each day. Every Company has a MOD rating that insurance companies recognize them by, that tells you how well they handle doing their business, and it is a reflection on safety. You should always want to know how safe a company is and how they approach that subject but more than that it is a culture, a culture is derived from how from the owners to the management staff and the general employees they feel about being safe.

Here at Resource Recovery Solutions, our commitment to safety is something we strive to instill in every one of our employees. We believe in creating a working environment that encourages each employee to take responsibility for their actions and commit to perform their job safely and efficiently and to the highest quality of ethical standards. We instill this strong safety culture by ensuring participation in daily “toolbox talks” about current projects and weekly safety meetings about different sections of our health and safety manual. After our employees’ ninety day probation period, they are required to pass a rigorous safety training program as well as an OSHA 30 training. We take all the measures required to make sure our demolition crews are OSHA 30 card carriers and that our rigging division has passed a qualified rigging course. We are aware that the best practices of safety are always changing so we choose to promote that environment within our company to be the best that we can be in the industry.
